Howdy! I’m Lancee. I am a human. Being. I am a 30-year-old New Mexico-based writer, identify as she/her/hers, and am a seeker-of-the-quiet. Originally from Utah, I spent my young adult years playing basketball until I decided to pursue another “court,” ultimately obtaining a Juris Doctorate in pastoral Vermont. From adolescence to adulthood, writing has been my one-and-only constant. I am passionate about the therapeutic properties of poetry (and writing in general) and how the power of words can provide comfort and healing. I seek to share my musings with the world, to empower others to write, and to foster social change.
